Luxury SPA

Water, warmth and silence
above the resort district.

A clinical SPA rather than a hotel spa: hydrotherapy circuits, thermal cabins and manual therapy delivered by registered therapists, with a physician available if a treatment reveals something that needs one.

Signature treatments

Six rituals, each with a clinical rationale.

Luxury massage

Ninety minutes of deep-tissue or lymphatic work by a registered massage therapist, with pressure and technique chosen after a short musculoskeletal screen.

Hydrotherapy circuit

Contrast bathing between warm mineral pool, cool plunge and vichy shower to move lymph, reduce swelling and settle the nervous system.

Sauna and steam

Finnish sauna, eucalyptus steam room and salt inhalation cabin, programmed in intervals rather than left to guesswork.

Private relaxation

A soundproofed suite with zero-gravity loungers, dimmed circadian lighting and a guided breathing protocol for recovery after long nights.

Aromatherapy

Therapeutic-grade essential oil blends prepared for sleep, alertness or muscular relief, applied within a massage or as a standalone ritual.

Resort wellness packages

Half-day and full-day programmes assembled with partner resort properties, including transfer, treatments and lunch in the wellness lounge.

Luxury treatment room with resort lights beyond the window

Treatment rooms

Designed to remove every reason to stay tense.

Fourteen rooms, each with individual temperature control, acoustic isolation, warmed treatment tables and blackout glazing that turns the resort lights into a soft horizon rather than a distraction.

  • Registered massage therapists with clinical receipts for insurance
  • Couples suite with twin tables and a private thermal bath
  • Two accessible rooms with hoist-compatible tables
  • Post-treatment lounge with herbal infusions and hydration protocol

Guest impressions

From the treatment lounge.

★★★★★

“Their sleep and stress programme was built around my schedule, not against it. Late nights are part of my industry; recovery is now part of it too.”

Tomas BergCasino floor operations director, Vancouver
★★★★★

“Averdeno's concierge met our delegation at the hotel entrance, handled interpreting and had lab results ready before our evening event. That is hospitality applied to medicine.”

Yuki NakamuraCorporate travel lead, Osaka
★★★★★

“I travel to Canadian resorts four times a year. Having one medical record, one physician and one number to call has changed how I plan those trips.”

Grace OkonjoEntertainment producer, London

“I arrived for a three-night stay at the Fallsview resort and left with a full cardiac work-up, an orthopaedic plan and a physiotherapy schedule my clinic at home simply adopted. Everything happened between dinner reservations.”

SPA FAQ

Practical details.

No. The SPA is open to guests independently of clinical services, although every visitor completes a brief health screen so treatments can be adjusted safely.

Registered massage therapy receipts are issued with the therapist's registration number and are accepted by most Canadian and many international private insurers.

Sauna and hot immersion are generally not recommended. We offer a modified pregnancy circuit and prenatal massage with a therapist trained in that discipline.

Weekend evenings in the resort district fill first. Two to three days ahead is usually sufficient; members receive priority allocation.

In-suite massage is available at partner resort properties, subject to therapist availability and a suitable treatment space.
